Bio

2023-24: Started in 17 games while appearing in 27 during his freshman campaign. Had the second most home runs on the team with three during the year. Recorded a .229 batting average through 48 at bats on 11 hits. Posted a perfect 1.00 fielding percentage. 

Previous to Coker: Luke Alford is a talented baseball player hailing from Pawleys Island, South Carolina. He is known for his versatility on the field, being able to play both infield and outfield positions. Luke is a left-handed batter but throws with his right hand. Standing at 5'11" and weighing 200 pounds, Luke possesses a strong and athletic build that allows him to excel in various aspects of the game. His skills and dedication to the sport have earned him several accolades throughout his high school career. Luke has been recognized as an All-State player and has been selected for the prestigious North South team. Additionally, he has been named an All-Region player three times, showcasing his consistent performance and impact on the field. Luke played his prep career at Waccamaw High School, where he showcased his talent and contributed to the success of his team. With his exceptional skills and dedication to the sport, Luke Alford is a promising baseball player for the Cobra program.
