Cobras Edged by C-N in Series Opener
The Cobras tied the game, 4-4, with three runs in the top of the sixth inning, but the Eagles played an unearned run in the bottom of the eight and held off Coker in the top of the ninth.
JEFFERSON CITY, Tenn. - The Coker University baseball team was edged out 5-4 by Carson-Newman in the South Atlantic Conference series opener on Friday afternoon at the Silver Diamond Baseball Complex.
The Cobras tied the game, 4-4, with three runs in the top of the sixth inning, but the Eagles played an unearned run in the bottom of the eight and held off Coker in the top of the ninth.
