2012-13: Loraine made his name known throughout the baseball world as he was both an offensive and defensive threat to opponents. As the designated hitter, Loraine played in 51 games for the Cobras hitting .328 from the plate. He recorded 57 hits, 37 RBIs, 15 doubles, three triples, three homeruns, and scored 51 runs. On the mound, the closer made 58 appearences posting a record of 5-2 with 15 saves. He was second on the team with 68 strikeouts and first on the team with an ERA of just 2.66. Along with being awarded as the team MVP, Loraine was named to the All-Conference second team, Conference Carolinas All-Tounament team, NCAA Southeast Region All-Tournament team, Daktronics All-Region first team, NCBWA All-Region team, and the ABCA All-Region team. He was also Conference Carolinas player of the week on 3/12/13, and NCBWA Southeast Region Pitcher of the Week on 4/30/13. Lastly, Loraine was recognized as the a Daktronics All-American honorable mention member. Loraine was rewarded for his outstanding performance, when he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 21st round of the 2013 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft.
Other College: A transfer from Lindenwood University, Loraine batted .311 with four home runs, five triples and 12 doubles during his two years with the Lions. He also had a 2.45 ERA on the mound.
High School: Loraine was a two-time letter winner at Fort Zumwalt West where he batted .367 with four home runs, five triples and 12 doubles during his senior year. He was an Academic All-Confernece selection and was named the Cardinals Athlete of the Week.
Personal: Son of Eva and Lance Loraine...he has a sister Morgan.
