HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker women's volleyball team will host their final regular season match of the season on Friday (Nov. 2). The Cobras will take on the Lions of Emmanuel College in a non-conference match beginning at 5 p.m. The match will be video streamed online at www.cokercobras.com.
Friday's match will mark the first time that Coker and Emmanuel have faced each other on the volleyball court. The Lions enter the match with a record of 21-9.
The Cobras will honor their two seniors, Brittany Bass and April Griggs prior to the start of the match. Both of the seniors have been four-year members of the Coker volleyball team and they have both written their place in the Coker record book. Bass is fifth all-time in career digs with 1,001 (as of 10/31), and she holds the single match record for most digs, 37 against Barton on Nov. 11, 2011. Griggs ranks eighth in career block assists with 130 and seventh in career kills with 568 (as of 10/30).
