Hartsville, SC- The lady Cobras played St Andrews today in conference play. The Cobras started well taking all three doubles matches. Spencer and Crighton got the first win with a comfortable 8-1 win at number three doubles. Lemar and Smith took number one doubles 8-2 and the number two pair of Santos and Pace made it a clean sweep for the Cobras.


The singles matches followed a pretty similar pattern to the doubles with Coker playing great tennis in all positions. Jill Smith came in first with a 6-1, 6-0 win at number four singles. Cassidy Spencer wasn’t far behind with a 6-2, 6-2 win at number three singles. The Cobras swept all the other singles matches without anyone dropping a set.


This moves the Cobras to 9-7 for the season and 6-2 in conference play. The cobras next match is tomorrow at Limestone College at 12pm.
