Saints Top Cobra Women with Second Half Surge

GAFFNEY, S.C. – The Coker women's soccer team dropped a tough Conference Carolinas contest on Saturday to Limestone College with a score of 4-1. The Cobras' Becca Blackmon (Sumter, S.C.) netted the lone goal for Coker, the first of her collegiate career.

In a very close match, the Saints had an offensive explosion in the second half, as they scored all four goals in the last 45 minutes of play.

Haley Gibson (Chesterfield, S.C.) had nine saves in the net for the Cobras and senior Kerrie Cribb (Sumter, S.C.) earned her second assist of the season on the Blackmon goal.

The Cobras will continue their play on the road in their next match on Wednesday at Barton College. Kick-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
