Hartsville, SC- Solid defense, that’s what Coker used to hold off the Saints of Limestone College for nearly 67 minutes. Unfortunately, for the Lady Cobras the Saints were able to get a goal past keeper Krista Coleman, and that is all they would need, going on for a 1-0 victory. With the win Limestone improved to 4-5-4 overall, and 3-3-1 in the CVAC, while Coker falls to 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the CVAC.

Limestone’s Lauren McKeever scored the lone goal of the game off a cross from Erin Hoffman.

Coker’s Coleman had four saves in the game, while Limestone’s Liz Eichhorn had three saves.

The Cobras next match is on Tuesday, October 3 at 2:00 p.m.
