High School: Demby was a standout golfer and basketball player at Chesterfield High School. She was named the women's golf MVP seven times and was a 2011 Girls Golf All-Region selection. Taylor was an individual qualifer for the South Carolinas Girls 3A State Golf Tournament five times and was named a South Carolina Junior Golf Association All-Star seven times. She was the 2011 Carmel Junior Invitational Champion.
