SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker women’s golf team finished in 15th place at the 2010 Patsy Rendleman Invitational on Tuesday in Salisbury, N.C. The Cobras shot a combined 367 (+79) in the final round on the par 72, 5,983 yard Salisbury Country Club.

Belmont Abbey College took home first place honors, with UNC-Pembroke coming in second and Newberry College finishing third.

Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.) and Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) led the way for the Cobras. Both fired 89 in the second round, while Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) shot a 90 and Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) shot a 99. Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) rounded out the field of Cobras with a 101 in the second round.

The Cobra women will now break for the remainder of the fall semester. They will hit the links again after the holiday break with their first tournament on February 5-6 at the Kiawah Island Invitational.
