SALISBURY, N.C. – The Coker women’s golf team completed their first round of play at the 2010 Patsy Rendleman Invitational on Monday. The Cobras are in 15th place with a score of 369 (+81) after the first round at the par 72, 5,983 yard Salisbury Country Club.

Belmont Abbey College is the leader, followed by UNC-Pembroke and Newberry College.

Individually for the Cobras, Natalie Falco (Stoughton, Mass.), Alexa Clark (Devon, Pa.) and Bobbi McKenzie (McBee, S.C.) each shot 90 in the first round, while Megan Tingen (Hartsville, S.C.) shot 99 and Krista Thorpe (Bracebridge, Ontario) shot a 102.

Coker will complete the 36 hole tournament with the second round of play on Tuesday.
