Men’s Volleyball Announces Addition of Ferrer
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College men’s volleyball coach Todd Caughlin announced today that Ricardo Ferrer has agreed to play for the Cobras.
Ferrer, a junior setter, is transferring from Graceland University in Iowa. He played a key role for the Yellowjackets as they won the Mid-America Men’s Volleyball Intercollegiate Conference title and appeared in the NAIA men’s volleyball national invitational tournament.
“We are looking forward to using Ricardo's experience at Graceland combined with his athleticism to help lead the Cobras in their inaugural season,” said Caughlin. “Ricardo's ability to move the ball and run an offense is remarkable. He will be able to keep the opposition’s blockers and our hitting core very active.”
Originally from Maracaido, Venezuela, Ricardo is the son of Evelio and Yaneth de Ferrer.
