Griffin Named Interim Head Volleyball Coach
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College Vice President of Athletics and Facilities Lynn Griffin has been named interim head coach for men's and women's volleyball. She replaces Todd Caughlin, who has coached at Coker since 2010.
Griffin came to Coker in 2010. During her tenure at Coker, Griffin has spearheaded the addition of five new sports – women's golf, men's lacrosse, men's volleyball, women's lacrosse and men's wrestling. She also led the charge in Coker's transition to the South Atlantic Conference (SAC), which invitation the college officially accepted in May. Coker Cobras will begin conference play in the SAC in 2013.
Griffin has previously coached volleyball and basketball at the high school and collegiate levels in North Carolina and Indiana. Griffin will be assisted by assistant volleyball coach Breanna Morales.
