Cobras Hoping to Slow Mount Olive

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's volleyball team will host Mount Olive (7-3, 6-0) on Wednesday (Feb. 13) in a Conference Carolinas match.  Live video broadcast will be available at www. 

The Cobras are coming off a tough 3-0 loss to Pfeiffer University in their home opener, where Jared Geizer led the team and match with 11-kills.  As a team Coker led the competition with 34-kills, and 35-assists.

Luke Hansen continues to lead the Cobras with 54 total kills on the year, followed by Geizer (40), and Christopher Gbelay (35).  Ricardo Ferrer and Cooper Lyon are tied for the season high 25-digs, while Ferrer leads the team with 140-assists.

Mount Olive recently defeated Belmont-Abbey in a Conference Carolinas match to remain undefeated in conference play.

Angel Dache leads the Trojans with 101-kills on the year, along with Andreas Lengler with 78. 

The match is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time in the Timberlake-Lawton gymnasium.
