Pembroke, NC- In their second contests of the season, neither Coker Soccer Team was able to get the offense going, as they both fell to the UNC-Pembroke Braves. The women lost 5-0 and the men lost 3-0, dropping both teams to 0-2 on the year.

In the men’s match, Pembroke jumped on the Cobras early, scoring the first two goals of the game off the second and third shots of the game. The Cobras held the Braves in check until the 74th minute, when a ball deflected of a Coker player into their own goal, giving Pembroke a 3-0 lead.

The Cobras recorded four shots in the match and goalkeeper Nathan Scales had two saves, along with freshman Jeremy Smith, who also recorded two saves.
