Men's Golf Sets Line-up for Pirate Invitational

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – When the Coker men's golf team opens the spring campaign Monday at The Pirate Invitational in Savannah, the Cobras will have a young line-up led by PING All-American junior Jake Murphy (Hamilton, N.J.). 

In addition to Murphy, sophomores Josh Clay (Stark County, Ohio) and Matt Kreider (Westlake, Ohio) along with freshmen Christopher Fuga (Phoenixville, Pa.) and Luke Coates (Florence, S.C.) will comprise the Cobras line-up for the two-day 54-hole event.

The Cobras had four qualifying rounds for the tournament at their home course, Hartsville Country Club. Clay narrowly won the qualifying event at 287 (-1), followed closely by Fuga at 288 (E) and Murphy 289 (+1).
