Savannah, GA- The Coker Cobras are tied for sixth place with UNC-Pembroke at the 2007 AASU/Southbridge Pirate Invitational on Monday at the Southbridge Golf Club in Savannah. The Cobras shot a combined 299 (+11) for the day. Coker is being led by freshman Jimmy Gillam, who is just two strokes off the leader, after firing a first round 70 (-2).

 

Chris Marsh is tied for 13th after shooting a 74, while Blaine Rogers is just one stroke behind Marsh with a first round 75. Benoit Gordon and Jay Goldenberg round out the Coker five, with Gordon shooting a first round 80 and Goldenberg shooting a 82.

 

The Cobras will play the final round of the tournament starting tomorrow, with the 12 team field beginning to tee off at 7:45 a.m.
