Coker College Student-Athletes Honored by Conference Carolinas
The Conference Carolinas Spring Honor Roll was revealed today.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College had 115 student-athletes named to the 2013 Conference Carolinas Spring Presidential Honor Roll, the league office announced today. It marked the second consecutive honor roll that saw over 100 Cobras listed.
“I am truly proud of our student-athletes and their accomplishments,” vice president of athletics and facilities Lynn Griffin said. “We have had a wonderful year both in and out of the classroom, and to have over 100 student-athletes honored again speaks volumes about the college and its dedication to academics. Our faculty, staff and coaches should also be commended, as they have been instrumental in the success of our department.”
A total of 1,713 student-athletes were recognized on the spring honor roll. In order to qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a grade-point average of 3.20 or higher. Conference Carolinas presents its honor roll twice a year, covering the fall and spring academic semesters and is based on meeting the criteria at the end of the previous semester.
