HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College tennis program is reaching out to its alumni base for a reunion. Coach Tom Simpson and the Coker men’s and women’s tennis teams will play host to an alumni day on Saturday, March 31.
Former players will gather for a round-robin alumni mixer from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, followed by the Coker tennis match against Erskine College at 2 p.m. Alumni and current players will then gather for a cookout starting at 5 p.m.
“I am looking forward to creating an environment of pride and camaraderie between our current players and the players of past Coker tennis teams,” said Simpson. “The active support of loyal alumni makes all the difference in building lasting traditions and winning programs. I hope this event whets our appetites for many social events for tennis alumni.”
Coker students, faculty, staff and the Hartsville community are invited to join the festivities.
