Halcro's 4 Goals Push Coker to a 11-10 Victory over LMU
Olivia Buchanan and Sydnee Schrauben net their first career goals as Coker wins it late against Lincoln Memorial.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker earns its first conference win of the season over Lincoln Memorial in a 21-goal thriller that saw Kate Halcro score a late winner.

How It Happened:
- The first period saw the Cobras on fire as they won every ground ball and went perfect on clears. Coker jumped out to a 3-goal lead with Paulina LoCascio, Kate Halcro, and Olivia Buchanan all finding the scoresheet.
- To get the second half underway, sophomore Jessica Pintado scored her first goal of the season to give the Cobras a 4-1 lead. The Railsplitters were able to cut the lead down to just one with 10 minutes left to play in the second period.
- To close out the first half, Kate Halcro scored her second of the day and Mia MacMillan and Ashley Cortez connected to give the Cobras a 3-goal lead heading into halftime.
- The Railsplitters came to life in the 3rd period, outscoring the Cobras 5-3 to go into the 4th period with only a goal to separate the two sides.
- The 4th period saw Kate Halcro scoring 2 more goals, including a late winner with only 45 seconds left in the game to secure the Win for the Cobras off of a free position shot due to a high stick in the circle.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Cobras will be welcoming UVA-Wise to the Coker Athletic Turf next on March 19th. This game is set to have an opening face-off at 5:00 PM.
