EMORY, Va. – Senior Kristynn Knight led four Cobras in double figures as the 21st-ranked Coker University women's basketball team concluded the regular season with a 81-73 victory at Emory & Henry on Saturday afternoon.
Knight posted a team-high and career-high tying 21 points, while senior Shanwteanna Tillman had 13, junior Dasia Ferguson added 12 and graduate student Kamari Thompson chipped in 10 points to go with 10 rebounds.

Kristynn Knight equalled her career-high with 21 points and has now scored in double figures in three straight games and seven of the last eight outings.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
With momentum from its Senior Day ceremony, Emory & Henry jumped out to a 19-17 lead at the end of the first quarter and carried a 42-35 advantage into halftime.
Coker University trailed by as many as nine early in the third quarter, but the Cobras stormed back and eventually grabbed their first lead of the second half, 49-48, on a Shawnteanna Tillman free throw with 4:17 remaining in the period. Coker never relinquished the lead, taking a 59-55 edge into the fourth quarter.
The Cobras pushed their advantage to as many as 10 points in the final stanza and withstood a late Wasps rally to secure the victory.

Coker earned the No. 3 seed in next week's South Atlantic Conference Tournament and will face No. 6 seed Wingate on Thursday at 2:30PM inside the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center, in Rock Hill, S.C.
