Four In Double Figures Lead Coker over Anderson

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Four players scored in double figures to lift the 14th-ranked Coker women's basketball team to a 66-60 victory over visiting Anderson on Wednesday night inside the DeLoach Center.
Senior guard Shawnteanna Tillman paced the Cobras with 16 points, while senior guard Kristynn Knight added 14. Graduate student forward Janay Legagneur finished with 11 points and junior guard Dasia Ferguson contributed 10.
Junior forward Kamari Thompson, returning to the lineup after missing time due to injury, grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
In a well-played first half, Anderson led at the end of both the first quarter (19-17) and at halftime (34-32), but the opening 20 minutes featured 10 lead changes and five ties.
The second half saw just one lead change and four ties before Coker took the lead for good on a pair of free throws by Courtney Taylor with 9:16 remaining in the fourth quarter, breaking a 44-44 deadlock.
Just over a minute later, Shawnteanna Tillman buried back-to-back three-pointers to help the Cobras extend their advantage. Coker held on down the stretch to secure its third straight victory.
