Coker's Home Court Win Streak Snapped by Augusta
The fourth-ranked Cobras fell, 72-69, to visiting Augusta in a non-conference contest on Tuesday night.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - The fourth-ranked Coker women's basketball saw its home court winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night when visiting Augusta earned a 72-69 victory inside DeLoach Center in a non-conference showdown.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Augusta jumped out to an early 6-0 lead, but Coker responded with a 10-4 run, tying the game at 10-10 on a jumper from Shawnteanna Tillman. Tillman then completed a three-point play at the line to give the Cobras their first lead, and Coker carried a 16-14 advantage into the end of the opening quarter.
The second quarter featured four ties and three lead changes before Augusta was able to create some separation, taking a 38-32 lead into halftime.
The Jaguars controlled the scoreboard throughout most of the third quarter, but Coker stayed within striking distance. Senior Cayanna Stanley delivered the momentum swing the Cobras needed, draining a three from the elbow in the final seconds to lock the score at 52-52 heading into the fourth.
In a tightly contested final period, Coker threatened multiple times but was unable to grab the lead, and Augusta held on down the stretch to secure the win.
