2025: Started all 18 games...One of the three team leaders with four goals scored and was one of two players with a team-best 10 points...Scored a goal and dished out two assists in the 5-0 win over Barton on Sept. 13...Her other goals came at Barton (Oct. 3), against Roberts Wesleyan (Oct. 12) and at Meredith (Oct. 28). 

2024: Appeared in 11 games, starting 8 for Coker... Recorded a career high 4 goals on the season, while adding 8 points... Scored first career goal in loss to Wingate (09/10)... Added goals in contests against Limestone (10/10), Lander (10/24), and Lincoln Memorial (10/30)... Recorded a .667 SH% on the season... 

2023: Appeared in 6 games for the Cobras... Named to 2023-24 South Atlantic Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Previous to Coker: Skylar Ponik is a talented freshman field hockey player hailing from Middletown High School South in Lincroft, New Jersey. She plays as a forward, utilizing her speed, agility, and strong stick skills to make an impact on the field. From a young age, Skylar showed a natural affinity for field hockey. Her dedication and passion for the sport led her to join the Middletown High School South field hockey team as soon as she entered high school. Despite being a freshman, Skylar quickly made a name for herself with her exceptional skills and determination. Skylar Ponik's future in field hockey looks bright. As she continues to develop her skills and gain experience, she has the potential to become a standout player not only at the high school level but also in college and beyond.
