Cobra Women's Volleyball Drops Two at Carson-Newman
The Coker women's volleyball team lost both matches of their tri-match against Carson-Newman and Montevallo on Saturday (Sept. 26).

JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The Coker women's volleyball team went 0-2 in its tri-match against Carson-Newman and Montevallo on Saturday (Sept. 26) at Carson-Newman. The Cobras dropped their first match of the day to Carson-Newman 3-0 and then lost to Montevallo 3-0.
Against Carson-Newman, Madison Bingle led the way with 10 kills and five digs, while Christen Bragg added 10 assists and seven digs. Missy Reid picked up seven digs, as well, and Rachel Waters had five digs.
In the Montevallo match, Megan Hardy led the offense with nine kills, while Cayley Gunter, Alexis Berles and Bingle had five kills each. Bragg handed out 22 assists with eight digs and Regan Kennen finished the match with nine digs.
The Cobras will wrap-up their seven-match road trip on Tuesday (Sept. 29) when they head to Barton College for a non-conference match. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
