Records Fall as Women’s Track & Field Completes Weekend Competitions
Rock Hill, S.C./Columbia, S.C. - The Coker University women's track and field team completed competition at the Winthrop Twilight Invitational on Friday (April. 9) and the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday (April 10. The Cobras had a strong showing, placing in several events and breaking two school records.

Friday at Winthrop Twilight Invitational
Sierra St. John took down the school record for the shot put with a mark of 10.66m, winning the event. St. John also placed second in the discus throw with a mark of 34.64m.
Ikia McCollough took down the hammer record with a mark of 38.55m, placing fourth.
Coker would win the 4x100m with a time of 50.10.
In the 800m, Stephani Forrester placed second with a time of 2:40.32.
In the 400m hurdles, Giovana Machado placed first with a time of 1:05.29.
In the 200m, Ayanna English placed second with a time of 27.51.
Katie Spence won the 5000m with a time of 19:54.86.
Saturday at Gamecock Invitational
In the 200m, Nyasia Weatherly placed 15th with a time of 24.77.
Faith Lee placed 11th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.86
Coker's 4x100m relay team placed seventh with a time of 47.90
Jada Holton placed 12th in the high jump with a mark of 1.50m
