2019-20: Competed in six meets during a shortened season due to COVID-19...ran a 8.06 in the 60m at the Gamecock Opener (Jan. 17)...set a personal best in the 60m by running a time of 7.92 at the Carolina Challenge (Jan. 31)...she broke that personal best at the South Carolina Invitational (Feb. 8) with a mark of 7.88...ran the second fastest 200m time in school history at the BU Valentine Meet (Feb. 15) with a mark of 25.55...medaled in the 60m (7.72) and 200m (25.49) at the SAC Indoor Conference Championships (Mar. 1).
High School: Nyasia comes from James F Byrnes High School where she was the 5A County Champion in 100 meters, 200 meters in 2017-18 and 2018-19.
Personal: Daughter of Quaashie Weatherly and Natasha Edmonds, intends to major in Biology.
