Coker's Lott Qualifies for NCAA DII Outdoor Track and Field National Championship
Coker College women's track and field team member Darroneshia Lott has qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 800-meter run.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Coker College women's track and field member Darroneshia Lott has qualified for the 2017 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championship in the 800-meter run, becoming the first Coker track and field team member to do so in program history.
Lott's lowest time of 2:07.99, which came at the Weems Baskin Invitational, is the seventh fastest time in NCAA Division II, earning her a No. 6 seed in the event. She picked up five wins this season in the 800-meter, with her wins coming at the USC Open, South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships, Weems Baskin Invitational, Lenoir-Rhyne University Southside Power & Fitness Invitational and the UNCW Seahawk Invitational.
