Bio
2015-16: Whitson red-shirted this season. She ran unattached in six events, earning en eighth-place finish at the Winston-Salem DII Invitational in the mile run.
High School: Whitson was a member of the cross country and track and field team while at Westlake High School. She placed second in the South Metro Region cross country meet. She was also a member of the QuickSilver Track Club and she competed at Junior Olympics in 2013, taking home bronze in the 4x800 relay.
