Bio
2015-16: Nixon had an excellent freshman season for the Navy and Gold, collecting 15 top-10 finishes, including four wins, two runner-ups and third third-place finishes. Her wins came at the Winston-Salem DII Invite (1/24) in the 4 x 400-meter relay, at the Braves Track Classic (3/4) in the 4 x 400 and the 400-meter dash and the Wingate University Invitational in the 4 x 400. She was named to the 2016 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) southeast All-Region team for her performance in the 400-meter dash.
High School: Nixon was a two-sport athlete at Decatur High School where she lettered in track and field and basketball. She was captain of the track team and her 4x400 team broke the Georgia state record.
Personal: Daughter of Claudette Lowe and Ronnie E. Nixon... she has two siblings Aniya and Donovan.
