Cobra Women Post Solid Performance at Hilton Garden Invitational
The Coker women's track and field team competed in the Hilton Garden Invitational on Friday (Jan. 30).
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Coker women's track and field team took part in the Hilton Garden Invitational at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. on Friday (Jan. 30).
The distance medley relay team of Shauntel Smullen, Lisa Foster, Mercy Muhuhu and Vanesa Pina earned a top 15 finish, placing 11th with a time of 13:27.
Smullen also competed in the women's 800 meter, finishing with a time of 2:36.12.
Da'Sha Jobes placed 37th overall in the long jomp with a distance of 4.88 meters, while Talicia Murphy came in 41st with a distance of 4.79 meters.
The Cobras will compete in the final day competition at the Hilton Garden Invitational on Saturday (Jan. 31).
