Hernandez-Sanchez Named to 3rd Team All-Conference Singles

Rock Hill, S.C.: The South Atlantic Conference announced the All-Conference team this afternoon. The Cobra Ace, Ilona Hernandez-Sanchez, was named to the All-Conference 3rd Team for her Singles play this season.

Hernandez-Sanchez took up the 1st singles position for the Cobras in Singles all season. In Singles play, she went 9-5-4. Hernandez-Sanchez was a leader for the Cobras, always going up against the best of the best the South Atlantic Conference has to offer. Her most notable win of the year was against #23 Newberry, and she picked up wins against Francis Marion, Augusta, and UVA Wise.

She will be adding this accomplishment to what she won last year for the Cobras when she was named the South Atlantic Conference Freshman of the Year.
