HARTSVILLE, S.C.- Coker women's tennis beat Lenoir-Rhyne 5-4 in South Atlantic Conference action on Saturday (Mar. 5).
Ragan Palmer and Suzanna Mickey teamed up for an 8-6 victory at No. 3 doubles to get Coker on the board. Bailey Palmer (6-1, 6-3), Jennifer Mezei (6-2, 7-5), Mickey (6-1, 6-3) and Sarah Elliott (6-3, 4-6, 7-6) all collected singles wins. Elliot's 7-6 win in the final set clinched the match for the women.
The Cobras are back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 8) when they host Young Harris in non-conference action. Play is slated for a 1:00 p.m. start.
