Cobras Fall to Royals in SAC Quarterfinals
The Coker women's tennis team's season came to an end on Thursday (Apr. 16) with a 5-2 loss to Queens in the quarterfinals of the SAC Tournament.

BREVARD, N.C. – The Coker College women's tennis team fell to the Queens University of Charlotte Royals on Thursday (Apr. 16) 5-2 in the South Atlantic Conference quarterfinals.
The Cobras would fall behind 3-0 after doubles play. Suzanna Mickey would put Coker on the board with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 6 singles. Second team All-SAC selection Bailey Palmer would notch a 6-3, 7-5 victory at No. 2 singles. The Navy and Yellow's comeback would fall short and the Royals would take home the 5-2 quarterfinal victory.
Coker finishes the season with a 10-12 overall and 6-5 in conference record.
