HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The Cobras came out flying in this game as they took the lead in only the third minute of the game, as Ella Wilke sent the ball into the top right corner of the net.
• Moments later, the Pioneers tied up the game in the 4th minute of the match.
• The rest of the first half was very back and forth, with neither team really taking control of the game.
• Then, in the 38th minute, Ella Wilke doubled her tally on the day as she scored a 1v1 against the keeper into the top right corner of the net to give the Cobras the lead.
• But the Pioneers had an immediate bounce back as they tied the game up almost exactly a minute later.
• Going into the half, the game was all tied up.
• The Pioneers took the lead 10 minutes into the second half from a curling shot for the right side of the box into the backpost to take their first lead of the game.
• Alexis Spivey had a close call as she sent a shot from 25 yards out over the keeper's head, only to be stopped by the crossbar.
• This game ended with a final score of 3-2.
