Bio
2016-17: Finished with a 2-2 record for the Cobras this season.
High School: Merritt attended Porter Ridge High School where wrestled for the Pirates. On the mat, he was a two-time all-conference selection and a two-time first team all-county selection. He was the 2015 and 2016 Porter Ridge wrestler of the year and was a 2016 conference champion. He was also a two-time state qualifer and a 2015 AAU Scholastic Duals All-American.
Personal: Son of Michelle and Robert Evans... he has three siblings Katelyn, Laura and Cody.
