2015-16: Did not wrestle, redshirted in 2015-16.
High School: Chappell was a two-sport athlete at Central High School where he lettered in cross country and wrestling. On the wrestling mat, he was an all-region and all-state performer.
Personal: Son of Anna Chappell and Derwane Chappell and Deborah Watkins... he has four siblings Quan, Derjuan, Dominique, Jacory... Quan attends James Madison University.
