HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker women's basketball senior guard Shawnteanna Tillman was named to the First Team of the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Southeast Region Team, the organization announced Thursday morning.
Tillman was also named First Team All-South Atlantic Conference and earned a spot on the SAC All-Tournament Team last week. She helped guide Coker to the SAC Tournament title and the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
The Columbia, S.C., native led the Cobras with 18.4 points per game while averaging 4.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.6 steals per contest. She also knocked down a team-best 72 three-pointers this season.
This marks the first All-Region honor of Tillman's career.
Tillman and the Cobras, the No. 3 seed in the Southeast Regional, will open NCAA Tournament play on Friday at 12 p.m. against Francis Marion at "Tex" Turner Arena on the campus of Lincoln Memorial.
