Salisbury, NC - The Coker University Women's Basketball Team dropped their second game against Catawba by a score of 75-55 on Wednesday night (Dec. 14th).
For the Cobras, Abigail Keesling led the team with 15 points. Keesling was followed by Valicia Demeritte (12), Dasia Lambert (6), and Dominique Rodriguez (6) who added to the collective 55 points. Four other Cobras also scored throughout the game. As a team, Coker shot 41.3 percent from the field, 57.1 percent from the three point line, and 65 percent from the foul line.
Defensively, Coker collected 32 rebounds, Hope Richardson grabbing six out of the 32. Kristynn Knight (5), Mya Wasswa (3), and Abigail Keesling (3) played off the glass. Throughout the game, seven other Cobras were able to add to the collective 32.
Lyrik Thorne, a guard playing for Catawba, scored a total of 21 points for the night.
