AUSTIN, Texas - Coker University men’s cross country/track and field graduate Murishi Irankunda and men’s track and field sophomore Kristoffer Persen have been selected to the Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District First Team, announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America today (Thursday, July 15).
HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Gus Schmader has been named the new Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field Coach, announced today (Saturday, May 29) by Vice President of Athletics and Athletic Facilities Dr. Lynn Griffin.
Rock Hill, S.C. - The Coker University men’s track team completed competition at the Eagle Twilight meet on Wednesday (May 5). The Cobras performed well, winning several events and setting new personal bests.
HICKORY, N.C. - Coker University men’s track and field wrapped up competition for the season at the South Atlantic Conference Outdoor Championships on Sunday (Apr. 25). Coker finished eighth in the team standings with 29 points.

Columbia, S.C. - The Coker University men's track and field team completed competition at the USC Open on Saturday (April 17). The Cobras had a strong showing, placing in several events and setting personal bests while competing against nationally-ranked Division I schools.
Rock Hill, S.C - Coker University men’s track and field athlete Mike Earley was named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Field Athlete of the Week, announced by the league today (Tuesday, April. 13).
Rock Hill, S.C./Columbia, S.C. - The Coker University men's track and field team completed competition at the Winthrop Twilight Invitational on Friday (April. 9) and the Gamecock Invitational on Saturday (April 10). The Cobras had a strong showing, placing in several events and breaking two school records.
