COLUMBIA, S.C. -- The Coker College men's track and field team placed fifth out of 16 teams at the CIU Invitational on Saturday (Mar. 23).
Alex Berry won both the high jump and the triple jump, posting personal records in both events. His high jump distance of 1.87 meters was good for fifth-best in school history.
Brandon Mullins finished second overall in the 800-meter with a time of 1:55.22. Mullins now holds the top eight 800-meter times in school history.
The Cobras will be back in action next Saturday (30) when they travel to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays.
