Coker Men’s Volleyball Makes Splash in National Statistical Rankings
The Coker men's volleyball team is making its presence felt on the national stage, statistically speaking.
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – In only their third season, the Coker College men's volleyball team is beginning to receive national recognition for their play on the court.
Individually, Artur Cabral leads the nation with .62 aces per set. Cabral is also in the top 10 in points per set and kills per set. He is fifth in the country averaging 4.95 points per set and 10th in the nation with 3.85 kills per set. Luke Hansen is also in the top 25 in aces per set, averaging .37 aces per set. As a team, the Navy and Yellow are second in the country averaging 1.67 aces per set, behind Ohio State University.
The men's volleyball team finished with a 7-6 home record and have road matches on April 4 and 11 to finish their 2014-2015 campaign.
