HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker men's volleyball team fell, 3-0, to the Bulldogs of Barton College on Tuesday (Feb. 10) night.
Barton would control the first two sets, picking up 25-19 and 25-20 set victories, respectively. The third set would be a slugfest, with Coker holding a 23-21 lead late, but Barton would use a late surge to take the set 26-24 and the match 3-0.
Luke Hansen led the offense with eight kills, while Artur Cabral added seven kills of his own. Colton Parsons paced the offense with 24 assists.
Coker will take a 12-day break from play and return to the court when they travel east for a matchup with the New Jersey Institute of Technology on Thursday (Feb. 19).
