Cobras Open Outdoor Season at Spring Break Invitational
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker University men's track & field team opened the outdoor season this weekend at the Spring Break Invitational in Myrtle Beach, turning in several strong performances against a competitive field.
Coker saw success in the sprint events as Keaten Pegues recorded a time of 10.69 in the men's 100 meters, while Juelz Mickles followed with a time of 10.81.
The Cobras continued their strong showing in the 200 meters, where Mickles ran a 21.97 and Jeffrey Stiles posted a 21.99.
In relay competition, the men's 4x100 meter Mickles, Pegues, Stiles, Jones finished with a time of 41.29 seconds.
Coker also produced a standout performance in the field events as Mason Green recorded a throw of 49.00 meters in the javelin, marking an impressive debut performance.
