JAQUES FOKAM SANDEU SIGNS WITH CZECHIAN FIRST DIVISION SIDE FK DUKLA
COBRA STAR GETS HIS CHANCE AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF SOCCER IN CZECH REPUBLIC
Prague, Czech Republic - FK Dukla has announced the signing of Cobra alumnus Jaques Fokam Sandeu to the squad for the upcoming season!
Sandeu was a 2024 graduate of Coker and had quite a decorated career in a Cobra uniform. Along with being the school's Male Athlete of the Year, he was a multiple-time All-Conference honoree, All-Region, and All-American. He currently sits in the top five in Coker Men's Soccer history in career points and career goals, while also being in the top ten for career assists.
Sandeu spent last season with FC Slovan Velvary, a squad in the Czech Republic's third division, appearing in 11 games while scoring 7 goals and notching 4 assists in his professional debut season. His play last season caught the eye of FK Dukla, a side in the top division of Czech soccer, which has now added him to the squad for the upcoming season.
When asked how it felt to sign this contract, Sandeu said, "Signing a contract with Dukla is a big step in my career, and I am extremely proud to be part of a club with such a rich history. It is a huge challenge for me, and I am fully committed to helping the team succeed. Wearing the Dukla jersey is an honor for me, and I look forward to giving my best in every match."
