Coker Men’s Golf in Fourteenth after Day One at Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate
The Cobra men's golf team is in 14th place after the first round of play at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Coker College men's golf team is in fourteenth place after an opening round 308 (+20) at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate.
The Navy and Yellow were led by sophomore Will Bundy who fired a first round 73 (+1). The freshman duo of Alex Rios and Jonathan Sundstrom came in next with rounds of 76 (+4) and 78 (+6). Juniors John Duke and Blake Baysden rounded out the Cobra five with opening rounds of 81 (+9) and 82 (+10), respectively.
North Greenville University is the leader after 18 holes team score of 284 (-4). Wingate's Benedict Gebhardt is atop the individual leaderboard after an opening 68 (-4).
Tee times will begin tomorrow morning from the Maples course at the Sea Trail Golf Club.
