Coker Splits DH with Visiting Anderson

HARTSVILLE, S.C. - Coker University baseball split a Saturday doubleheader with Anderson at Tom J. New Field at Dave Schmotzer Stadium, riding a dominant pitching performance in the opener before falling in the finale.
Ian Hawk went the distance in game one, tossing a complete game to lead the Cobras to a 10-4 victory. Offensively, Gavin Johnson paced the Cobras with a combined five RBIs on the afternoon.
Anderson answered in the second game to claim a 10-6 win and earn the split.
