HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker Cobras lost their non-conference baseball matchup with the St. Andrews Knights on Wednesday (Apr. 1), 17-8.
Miguel Frias drove in four runs to lead the Cobras at the plate. He finished the game 3-for-5. Also driving in runs were Michael Orlowski, Alex Rodriguez and Bryson Conner. Joe Diaz went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple, and Will Winslow was a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs scored.
Eight pitchers threw for the Cobras. Will Sutton (0-1) was tagged with the loss. He allowed one run on three hits in an inning of work.
The Cobras will return to action on Friday and Saturday (Apr. 3-4) when they host Tusculum College in a three-game South Atlantic Conference series. Game one will take place Friday at noon.
