JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – The Coker College baseball team picked up an 11-7 victory on Sunday (Mar.22) in their South Atlantic Conference series finale against the Carson-Newman University Eagles.
Five Cobras registered two RBIs each in the offensive outburst. Freshman Bryson Conner led the charge going 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs and two RBIs. Sammy Song also had a multi-hit afternoon. He went 2-for-4, scored a run and plated two RBIs. Jack Leech and Will Winslow both went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Michael Orlowski went 1-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs as well.
Dallas Baldwin (3-3) picked up the win on the mound for the Navy and Yellow. He struck out nine batters over eight and two-thirds innings.
The Cobras will be back in action on Tuesday (Mar. 24) when they travel to UNC Pembroke for a non-conference matchup against the Braves. First pitch slated for 6 p.m.
