HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Coker College baseball team dropped a non-conference matchup to the visiting Mercyhurst University Lakers 7-4 on Monday (Mar. 9).
Bryson Conner, Sammy Song and Jack Leech all had two hits on the afternoon. Conner and Song both went 2-for-4, while Song picked up an RBI. Leech went 2-for-3, plating an RBI and scoring a run. Jacob Young also had an RBI along with going 1-for-2.
Korbin Causey (0-1) suffered the lost after going two-thirds of an inning.
The Cobras will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on UNC Pembroke in a non-conference matchup starting at 2:30 p.m.
