Coker Picked Second in Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Preseason Poll
HARTSVILLE, S.C. – Expectations are high for Coker University Acrobatics & Tumbling heading into the 2026 season, as the Cobras were picked to finish second in the Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced Wednesday by the conference office.
Coker earned 68 points and two first-place votes, finishing just behind Lander University (75 points). Mars Hill (64 points) and Wingate (63 points) rounded out the top four, setting the stage for a highly competitive conference race.
"We are grateful to be ranked number two in the preseason poll and excited to get the season started. Our team has been working incredibly hard throughout the preseason and is determined to make this a great year!" said head coach Alyssa Loo

The Cobras also saw three student-athletes recognized on the Conference Carolinas Players to Watch list for the upcoming season:

Championship Information
The 2026 Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Championship will begin with quarterfinal meets at campus sites on Tuesday, April 7. The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, April 11, at the Shaw Athletic Center on the campus of Emmanuel University in Franklin Springs, Georgia. The championship will conclude on Sunday, April 12, with event finals and the conference championship meet.
